Farzaneh ( Fatemeh ) Assadi, was born in 1963 in the city of Mash’had in the province of Khorasan of Iran.

Her major was graphics whit tendency toward sculpture. Currently, she holds honorary doctorate degree in sculpture. She has participated in more than 40 group exhibits in Iran and other countries.

·         1993 at the Sadr gallery in Iran and other International symposiums and biennials
·         2000 Second individual exhibit at the Niavaran cultural center. 40 stone statutes was on display and The exhibitions was called “stones speak”
·         2000 to 2011 exhibitions in Paris(France), Keeve (Ukraine), Tokyo (Japan), Athena (Greece), Beirut (Lebanon)
During the same years participated in construction and installation of over 20 field artistic works in Iran and other countries

Other activities  actively participated in non-governmental artistic and cultural institution in Iran as follow:
Served as lecturer at universities and private classes for many years.
Served as founder, managing director, and member of the board of directors of the pole association
Served as founder member of the sculpture association of Iran – served as manager in charge of that association for four terms in 1998.
Served as founder member of the artistic women association of Iran in 1997
Participated at international symposiums, and domestic and international biennials.
Private exhibition and participated at international and domestic fairs.

• Participated in construction and installation of 2 statutes, 2 and 4 meters respectively, across the Niavaran cultural which belonged to the museum of the contemporary art in 2001.
• Participated in construction and installation of a nine meter height statute at the pars electric company in 2000, in reminiscence of the martyrs of that company.
• participated in construction and installation of statutes of renowned Iranian figures such as Avicenna, Socrates, Mulla Sadra, Ferdowsi, and Khayyam at the dialogue of civilization central library in 2001.
• Participated in construction and installation of an artistic work at the dialogue of civilizations central library in 1999. The work was titled “dialogue”
• Participated in construction and installation of an artistic work at the Iranshahr park in 2003.
• participated in construction and installation of an artistic work at the dialogue of civilization center in 2000
• Participated in construction and installation of an artistic work in the Alieh district of the city of Beirut in Lebanon. 2001
• Participated in installation of two artistic works at the museum of contemporary art.
• Participated in construction and installation of 3 artistic works at the Morvarid Andishmandan complex.
• Participated at the weekly cultural exhibition held in Ukraine – presented 20 stone statutes in those exhibits.
• accompanied Iranian women artists in their trip to japan – presented 1- stone statutes
• Private exhibition in 1993 at the Sadr gallery in Iran – placed 25 artistic works of my own on display.
• Private exhibition in 2000 at the Niavaran cultural center in Iran – I placed 40 artistic works of my own on display. The exhibit was held under the title of “stone talk”
• Participated in construction and installation of a stone statute at the new Arg e Bam in 2004, in reminiscence of the Bam’s earthquake.
• participated in construction and installation of dr. Hessabi stone statute in the Kish island in 2006
• participated in construction and installation of 3.5 m high mother’s statute at the square near the Kish beach in 2006
• Participated in construction and installation of a 3 m high statue (with no title) at the Niroo Havaie 2 Sq., Tehran in 2009.
• participated in construction and installation of 2 m statute at the phase one of the city of Pardis (Pardis recreational center)in 2008
• participated in construction and installation of 2 m high statute (with no title) at the Ferdows square of phase 4 of new city of Pardis
• participated in construction and installation of 4m high statute (with no title) at the imam square of the city of Pardis in 2009
• held an exhibit at the Ciete center in Paris in 2007
• I participated at the exhibit held by the Iranian women artists in Croatia
• Participated in construction and installation of a statute at the Azadegan highway in 2011. The statute bears no title.
